Actually, no. They aren’t. Validity aside, me identifying as human is better than someone identifying as a martian because I’m right and they’re not. That is pretty much the opposite of being equal. These two identities are unequal.
As for validity, if you honestly believe you are anything other than a human, you suffer from delusions. Note that I’m referring to people that are convinced they are actually not human, not some little punk that claims he’s a vampire because he likes Twilight. It’s often dangerous to entertain a person’s delusions. If someone honestly believes they are vampire, they probably need professional help. Mostly because there’s a risk they could harm others as an extension of that.
It’s important to be open-minded, but that doesn’t mean automatically assuming crazy people’s delusions are normal just because you don’t want to be thought of as judgmental.

Love this packaging for a melonpan (cookie) with a character from the Afro Tanaka manga. (No, this is not racist. Darkie Toothpaste is racist. This is just fucking hair.)
If I ever get an opportunity to do commercials in Japan, I would want it to be for this.

FUCK. YES.

C.C. vs Kyo was a tough one, to be honest, as was Hina vs Kagami.
Victorique vs Kasugano Sora was uh… wow pretty obvious. I mean seriously.
Fate vs Eucliwood wasn’t too difficult for me, but I’m a bit worried for Fate, with Eu being from a newer show, and Nanoha being a disturbingly underwatched show.
Seriously though, I almost abstained from Nymph vs Kirino. Except that I voted against Kirino because fuck Kirino.
K-ON girls had some stiff competition this time, with the exception of possibly Mio. Although she was up against one of maybe 2-3 characters from Dog Days that I don’t hate.
The lesson here is that if you are sad and lonely, you can perform magic.
